Are the maps waterproof?
Yes the maps are waterproof.
Can we purchase the digital files?
Yes. Digital versions are available for selected maps. Click the DOWNLOAD menu link to see available maps.
What are material are the maps printed on?
The maps are printed on 13 ounce scrim banner vinyl.
Can they be laminated?
Yes, but it is not necessary.
Are hexless, no contour lines, no numbered hexes, no hex markers versions available?
The maps may be purchased in one or both of the following formats:
1) With all markers, contours, and numbered hexes printed (The Battletech version) or, 2) With NO markers, NO contours, and NO numbered hexes printed (The Leviathans version) Both formats contain hex lines, however. Please contact mapmasterbattlemaps@gmail.com for these options.
Can I use a dry erase marker on the map?
Yes, and in most cases, they wipe clean with no residue, but it is recommended it if you want to maintain a 'mint' condition.
What is the best way to clean my map?
We recommend using a dry, non-abrasive paper towel or rag first to remove dust. If that doesn't do it, you might try a mild cleaner applied to a soft cloth. NEVER use any kind of solvent cleaner.
